How is a country depends on its culture and history, two views narrowly linked with art. So it is that archeologists and historians are enabled to conform our timeline thanks to our past art activities like building monuments, composing music or painting our ancestors –in fact, paintings are the photographs of the past-. For these reasons, we should encourage students to carry out art degrees, in order to not lose our country personality. Nonetheless, it is appreciated that only small quantities of money are targeted to art projects.
From another point of view, sport is also important for a country. These days, sedentarism is affected our society in a heartbroken way. The youngest people are giving up sports activities because they take a lot of time and it is very difficult to succeed in a sports job. Apart from that, although doing exercise is essential to anyone, encourage sport with a professional aim could provide the country a fantastic international image of which could be taken advantage in the future.
On balance, art needs help but courses are not the best solution because it is something personal and sometimes, courses make of the art a commercial production teaching the same to all the students. However, investment in sport is more practical and easier to realise.
