YOUNG PEOPLE AND SPORTS

Currently, society is facing an enormous issue that is sedentarism. In the past, our ancestors used to be moving all day, but along the years we have been changing our lifestyle and this has ended in a total rejection to do exercise.

On the one hand, it is claimed that exercise is only for professional sportspeople because you were not keen on exercise, you wouldn't need doing it. This attitude is usually accompanied by a poor diet and bad health habits. 
All of this it is due to typical excuses like the lack of time or the increase in other ways of entertainment such as video games or internet, which are the principal cause of the youth's sedentarism.

As a reaction to this, a lot of physical professionals and nutritionist have called for a bit of concern in governments about how disastrous could be this for the future adults and their health. Consequently, they have developed strategies like making compulsory to do exercise for almost 3 times per week.

It is a coherent measurement, owing to doing exercise we reach our best version of us. That is to say, when a human gets fit, they improve the body image making bigger and stronger their muscles, but also internal processes can be enhanced. For instance, exercise is capable of getting rid of stress and increasing the hours of sleep. Besides,  long-term health is ensured with a bit of moving.

On balance, I agree with the idea and I hope that it could be taken up. We have to avoid the chance of an overweight society not only for our wellness but also for the earth one because the overpopulation is also increasing and we need active and effective people to face up to it.
